    Your charts clearly visualize your findings from your initial dataset in an uncomplicated manner. I like how your titles are very straightforward and express the main point of your charts, and also how they link together clearly. It is definitely interesting that the NDP received the most donations, but the Liberals received more money. Who would’ve thought!

Total Syrian Refugee - UN Data

The last data update I published on June 26th, 2017, had been incorrect due to the “decreased number of refugees leaving Syria”.   The number of refugees was wrong, as I had the “sum of count” instead of the the “sum of total refugees and people in refugee-like situations”.  Also, regarding my last blog, I had mentioned that “...certain countries in Europe had to take steps to not take-in and accept any refugees in their countries for security measures and due to the amount of refugees they’ve already acquired;” I did not mean, nor wanted to impose that refugees are “dangerous and/or imposed a threat to other countries”.  There are many articles like the one provided by CNN indicating that some European countries had stopped or tightened their laws with regards to accepting more refugees, due to the amount they they have already accepted within their countries.   With the updated data provided above, the United Nations reports that there’s been an i...

The United Nations data on Refugee provides the number of recorded refugees and “refugee-like” person who had sought refuge to another country.  This collection of data contains the number of refugees and “refugee-like” people between the years of 1975 to 2013.  It contains the total number of refugees, their country of origin and their country of refuge.   This data does not show the number of unrecorded and undocumented asylum seekers.  It only contains the number of refugees who has been helped and documented by the UN.         Is there anything about your data that you don’t understand?
